However, because it is a Visa debit card it can be used in a similar way to a credit card. Cynthia says that she does not mind the monthly fee, “$3.00? That’s real low.” She says that her credit is poor and she relies on the Walmart MoneyCard to pay her rental car services “Before I got this card, I couldn’t even rent me a vehicle.”
