Your newest book; In the Arms of Mr. Darcy was just released, can you tell us what scene in the book is your favorite?

Sharon Lathan: It is too hard to just pick one! My favorite scenes were the ones involving Darcy and Lizzy with their new son. I work with babies as a profession and have seen countless big, tough, even tattooed men melt into jelly when they hold their babies. My Darcy is an involved father who adores his son. I incorporate many moments of interaction as Alexander grows throughout the book, often times while the adults are naturally carrying on a conversation.

My novels are about life, after all! Two other favorite scenes center around characters meeting men who will be important in their lives. One is Caroline Bingley, who is shaken by her encounter, and later Kitty Bennet when she converses with an unseen stranger in a dark room. Very different situations but I love how the dialogue and scene played out.
